Jessica Prather

Jessica Prather started her career as a Teamster in 2010 as the Office Manager for Local 986. Several years later she became a Business Representative and Vice President. In January of 2022, Jessica became the Principal Officer and Secretary-Treasurer of the Local. She has been a member of the Idaho State AFL-CIO board since June of 2023, representing District 5.  

Prior to becoming a Teamster, Jessica served in the Montana Air National Guard and earned a degree in Business Management from Idaho State University. The successor of many Union members, Jessica takes great pride in helping working families better their lives and protect their futures.  

Jessica has been married to her husband Travis for 13 years. They have two adventurous little girls, Ella and Ava. They have fun traveling, spending time outside, playing music, and remodeling their cozy little house on the creek.
