Jeff McKinlay

Jeff is a third generation Union member. His father and grandfather were both Lifetime Members of the NEA. Not wanting to be an educator, Jeff went to the skilled trades. Jeff has been a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers since May 1997.  He served as his local’s Recording Secretary from 2016 to 2019, representative for the IBEW 8th and 9th District progress meeting in 2018, representative for the IBEW Construction and Maintenance conference in 2019, a delegate for the AFL-CIO 2019 Convention and East Idaho CLC. . Jeff was just elected as president for the IBEW Local 449 MC and is a safety director for another local riding group. Jeff enjoys Labor History and Labor Law.  When not working, he can be found camping, fishing, or enjoying his motorcycle that has turned into a passion.
